One of my  favorite Bible verses is John 14:6 -

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Did you know that the first followers of Christ were not called Christians. The term Christian came about later (mid 1st century).

Throughout the book of Acts people who were followers of Christ weren't called Christians but they were called followers of The Way.

Those who became followers of Jesus Christ were spoken of as belonging to “The Way,” that is, they kept a way of life centered on faith in Jesus Christ, following his example.
